Experts Rule The Blogophere
August 7th, 2007There are two kinds of people in this world: experts and non-experts. Most of us are non-experts. Therefore the experts out there are in high demand. It doesn’t matter what field you are in. If you are an expert in something, you will make more money doing it. This especially applies to blogging.
There are millions of blogs out there and 99.9% of those are run by non-experts hoping to make it big. While the other .01% make a ton of money blogging. They are paid for their expertise in their particular field. People do not read their blogs because they like them. People read their blogs because they can learn from them.
What is the point of this you may be asking? Well if you want to crack into the top .01% of blogs and successful make money blogging you have to become an expert. That’s the bottom line. No amount of SEO or marketing can do as well as expertise. Of course you still need to practice those disiplines. But first you need to become an expert in your niche. Only then will you be in demand and have a really successful blog.
How do you do that you may ask? It’s simple. Study and learn everything you can about your niche. Look at angles others have not. Becoming an expert is hard work. If it was easy, everyone would be an expert. Which would mean of course that experts wouldn’t be paid a premium for their services.
